it's 9:48pm & i'm in bed with my computer on my lap. (i guess that makes it a laptop. duh.) i am listening to the misfits & drinking a sub-par gin & tonic out of a hello kitty coffee mug. feelin' pretty classy.
so here's the plan: this blog is a test-kitchen for writing pieces to be self-published in the zine that i've been working on since 2005. tentatively titled: one awkward girl zine. i've got tons of pages of shit i've written from age 22 until now (i'm 28, goddamn i'm old.) some of them will be transposed into blog entries & sent into the ether for anyone to comment on. to give feed-back, constructive criticism, suggestions, etc. be honest. i'll thicken my skin & take it. i need to finish what i started. this labor of 6 years of love & stagnancy will be delivered to a xerox machine by mid-july 2011. DEAD-FUCKEN-LINE!
anyways. my name is emily bee. i've lived, loved, & been writing in milwaukee for almost a decade. expect pieces to be uploaded every few days.
i'm going to go into the storage area/hallway in my bedroom & rummage through boxes to find more pages of shit i've written over the years. & continue drinking these sub-par, lime-less g&t's.
